                    During each season of the main series, a Pokemon feature film starring the main characters from the TV series has been released. As of 2011 there have been 15 movies and one feature length TV broadcast. The movies are also used to promote new Pokémon that appear in new versions of the game and series. The names of the films are changed when they reach the USA from Japan where tehy are first made. For example the second film made Revelatin Lugia is changed to the Power of One. When the film is released in Japan it is not released until the following year in the USA.

                          Pokemon is a childrens anime Tv series which has since been adapted for the international television markets. It is based on the Pokemon video game series and a part of the Pokemon franchise.It has since been made into four series, The series follows Ash Ketchum and his friends that he makes on the way as he travels the world catching new Pokemon, battling Pokemon trainers, winning Gym Badges to enter tournaments and stop criminal organizations. In all 14 series there has been over 700 episodes. There are 15 episodes in each season. The first episode was aired on the first of April 1997 and it is still ongoing.

            In this post I am going to talk about the whole Pokemon trading card game. The idea behind it and how sucessful it was. Pokemon cards were based on the first series of games  First introduced in 1996 they were later published by Media Factory. The idea was to use these cards to further push the advertisement of the show and everything surrounding the brand. How well these cards have done speaks for itself as it is one of the highest earning card game of all time. Of recent times cards are being sold for over 100$ which says alot about how highly people rate these

The idea for Pokemon first came around when creator Satoshi Tajiri showed this idea to Japanese Video game makers Nintendo they heavily supported this idea and rightly so as it is now the second most successful and lucrative video game-based media franchise in the world, behind only Nintendo's own Mario Series. The name Pokemon is a shortened version of the Japanese Brand Pocket Monsters. One of the consistent aspects of the Pokemon games is the choice of one out of three Pokemon at the start of each game this ranging from the Red and Blue series to the Black and White series. #Leavveee ittt
